H.G. Wells Conference & Events Centre is conveniently located right in the centre of Woking, Surrey. This is the perfect venue to host your Events, Weddings and Birthday Parties. We are less than a 5 minute walk from Woking Train Station, and just 26 minutes by train from London Waterloo. There is ample parking in the Victoria Way Car Park adjacent to the venue, linked by a covered walkway. You will also find a choice of accommodation, just a few minutes’ walk away.

We have a choice of six contemporary event and conference spaces that can cater for anywhere between two and 800 people. Our facilities, equipment and in-house catering are second to none, and you will find our staff friendly and extremely professional. We have 6 purpose built event spaces which can accommodate your every need. We can accommodate in classroom-style between 8–144 delegates. U-shape, boardroom and theatre-style set-ups are also available. Whether you require a single room for a team meeting or the entire venue for a conference, our events team can assist. Our rooms range in capacity from 10 – 800 delegates. The Wells room is the largest event space in Woking, Surrey. The Kemp and Ogilvy Rooms come complete with a wedding license. The Ogilvy, Henderson and Elphinstone Rooms have natural daylight with full AV projection available and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout.

The Wells Room comes complete with a stage, bar, sophisticated lighting rig, high ceiling and a powerful sound system. With capacity of up to 600 delegates theatre style, the Wells Room is one of the largest event spaces in Woking.
