iVvy is excited to announce that our CEO and founder of iVvy, Lauren Hall, has been chosen as one of 16 women selected to participate in the prestigious 2016 EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women™ Asia-Pacific program.
As one of the five women selected from Australia, Lauren joins a diverse group hailing from China, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam, that combined contributed over US$5.5 billion to the Asia-Pacific economy in 2015, employing more than 30,000 people across the region.
Lauren is honoured to be selected by EY and feels privileged to be included in the company of forward-thinking women across the region. Since it started as an idea a few years ago, iVvy has grown to become a brand synonymous with transforming an industry steeped in legacy-based systems into a connected hub. This recognition by EY will help us grow globally.
“The recognition is in large part due to my fantastic team, says Lauren, and I thank them for constantly pushing the boundaries. As we celebrate International Women’s Day across the world, it is great to see global organisations such as EY honouring the efforts of women entrepreneurs and giving us a platform to shine brighter.”
Lauren was identified as one of Australia's leading female entrepreneurs in a high growth company with the potential to become a global market leader.
iVvy’s Marketplace and event software solutions have saved the Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) industry countless hours that have been better spent in other critical business areas. The Marketplace platform allows event organisers to search, compare, book and pay for event space, food and beverage and group accommodation instantly – a process that would otherwise take weeks to finalise.
Based on EY’s highly successful North American program, the Entrepreneurial Winning Women™ Asia-Pacific program has been designed to assist established women-led businesses that are ready to scale operations and become global market leaders. This is the second year of the annual program.
In the past, Lauren was also selected as one of the eight finalists in Springboard Australia’s 2014 program (selected out of 150 women).
